The Marquette Housing
Commission (MHC) of Marquette, MI is amending its Annual and/or Five Year PHA
plan. The MHC has received a Commitment to Enter into a Housing Assistance
Payments (CHAP) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
for the conversion of public housing units to Project Based Voucher assisted
units under the Rental Assistance Demonstration Program (RAD) in accordance
with the guidelines of PIH Notice 2012-32, Rev 2, Rev 3, and any successor
notices. Conversion under RAD is considered a Significant Amendment to the MHC
Five Year Plan.
This is a 45 day notice with an opportunity to present public comments regarding this change.
Comments must be made in writing and presented to the main office located at the address below, Attn. Sharon Maki or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than noon on April 23, 2019.
A public hearing will be conducted on April 23, 2019, at 9:00 pm in the Pine Ridge Community room located at 316 Pine Street, Marquette, MI 49855.
